Marlins SS Ramirez to be out a few more days

Jul 24, 2007 - 6:42 AM PHOENIX TICKER -- Marlins shortstop Hanley Ramirez was on hand but could not help the Florida Marlins in their 4-3 defeat against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday.

Ramirez, who leads the National League with 132 hits, suffered a partially dislocated left shoulder in Sunday's game against Cincinnati.

"Hanley was here and got treatment the whole night," Marlins manager Fredi Gonzalez said. "He will get treatment tomorrow then we will see where we are at Wednesday or Thursday."

Ramirez, the reigning NL Rookie of the Year, is batting .336 with 16 homers, 46 RBI, 74 runs and 27 stolen bases.
