Cubs 2B DeRosa out of lineup
Jul 25, 2007 - 11:18 PM ST. LOUIS (Ticker) -- Chicago Cubs second baseman Mark DeRosa is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.DeRosa left Tuesday's game in the bottom of the third inning with a left hamstring injury. He checked out fine when re-evaluated Wednesday but is being held out of the lineup in order to get some rest.
Mike Fontenot, who is hitting .328 with three home runs and 18 RBI, will play second base and bat sixth for the Cubs on Wednesday.
