Marlins' LHP Pinto leaves game with apparent leg injury

Aug 3, 2007 - 12:50 AM MIAMI (Ticker) -- Florida Marlins lefthander Renyel Pinto left Thursday's game against the Colorado Rockies with an apparent leg injury.

Pinto, who replaced Marlins starter Rick VandenHurk with one out in the fifth inning, struck out Kaz Matsui before bending over to touch his toes. Florida manager Fredi Gonzalez and the team trainer came out to the mound to talk to Pinto, who then left the game.

Matt Lindstrom replaced Pinto.
