DETROIT (Ticker) -- Detroit Tigers center fielder Curtis Granderson added his name to the club's record book in the first inning of Tuesday's matchup against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
Granderson stroked a leadoff double to right off starter Jason Hammel to become the second player in franchise history to have at least 30 doubles, 15 triples, 15 home runs and 10 stolen bases in a single season.
Charlie Gehringer accomplished the feat in the 1930 season.
