Mets IF Easley leaves game with ankle injury
Aug 19, 2007 - 12:53 AM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- New York Mets infielder Damion Easley left Saturday's game with the Washington Nationals in the sixth inning with a left ankle injury.Easley, who was playing first base in place of the injured Carlos Delgado, turned his ankle as he was running to second base on a ground ball.
The 37-year-old had to be helped off the field and was replaced by Shawn Green.
No one has shouted yet.
