Tigers 2B Polanco's errorless steak ends at 147 games

Aug 25, 2007 - 3:24 AM DETROIT (Ticker) -- Detroit Tigers second baseman Placido Polanco's major league-record streak of 147 games without an error came to an end in the first inning of Friday's game against the New York Yankees.

An All-Star, Polanco was charged with a throwing error on a grounder by Melky Cabrera.
