Reds activate Hannahan
Jul 27, 2014 - 4:17 PM Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Cincinnati's Jack Hannahan, who has been on the disabled list all season while recovering from right shoulder surgery, was activated from the 60-day disabled list.Hannahan was listed as batting sixth and playing first base in the lineup for Sunday's home game against the Washington Nationals.
Hannahan, who had surgery in October 2013, hit .216 with a homer and 14 RBI in 83 games last season.
The Reds also optioned pitcher Curtis Partch to Triple-A Louisville to make room on the roster.
