Rockies put Logan, Rosario on DL
Aug 27, 2014 - 9:49 PM San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Colorado Rockies placed both pitcher Boone Logan and catcher Wilin Rosario on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday.The left-handed Logan, 2-3 with a 6.84 earned run average over 35 appearances this season, is suffering from inflammation in his throwing elbow.
Rosario, hitting just .248 with 10 homers, 20 doubles and 43 RBI over 91 games, has been affected by wrist inflammation.
To fill the roster spots, Colorado recalled pitcher Christian Friedrich and catcher Jackson Williams from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
