O's outright Meek
Oct 29, 2014 - 5:58 PM Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - The Baltimore Orioles outrighted relief pitcher Evan Meek to Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday.Meek went 0-4 with a 5.79 ERA in 23 games for the Orioles this season. He also posted a 2-0 mark with a 1.94 ERA and 16 saves in 39 games for the Tides.
The 31-year-old right-hander also spent parts of five big league seasons with the Pirates and owns a career mark of 7-11 with a 3.63 ERA in 179 games.
