Marlins reinstate LHP Pinto from DL

Sep 15, 2007 - 12:39 AM DENVER (Ticker) -- The Florida Marlins on Friday reinstated pitcher Renyel Pinto from the 15-day disabled list.

The 25-year-old Pinto, who has been on the DL since August 3 with a left shoulder strain, is 2-4 with a 4.10 ERA and one save in 49 appearances this season.

The Marlins also transferred first baseman Aaron Boone, who is out for the season after undergoing surgery to his left knee, to the 60-day DL. Boone, 34, batted .286 with five homers and 28 RBI in 2007.
