Dodgers get Heisey from Reds for Magill
Dec 3, 2014 - 2:30 AM Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired outfielder Chris Heisey from the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday for right-handed pitcher Matt Magill.Heisey, 29, has spent all five of his major league seasons with the Reds, batting .247 with 50 home runs, 147 RBI and a .299 on-base percentage.
He hit .222 in 119 games this past season with eight homers, 22 RBI and a .265 on-base percentage.
Magill, 25, was 0-2 with a 6.51 ERA over six starts for the Dodgers in 2013. He was 7-6 with a 5.21 ERA in 36 appearances for Triple-A Albuquerque this season.
