Report: Giants bring back Romo
Dec 17, 2014 - 9:26 PM San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Francisco Giants have reportedly re-signed reliever Sergio Romo on Wednesday.According to FOX Sports, Romo and the Giants have agreed on a two-year, $15 million pact.
The right-hander's numbers dipped in 2014 as he finished the year with 23 saves, a 3.72 earned run average and a 6-4 record over 64 games.
Romo, who has been a part of all three of the Giants' World Series teams since 2010, has racked up 78 saves, a 2.51 ERA and a 31-21 record over 405 games spanning seven seasons with San Francisco.
The 31-year-old has also gone 3-1 over 25 career postseason appearances, registering a 2.11 ERA and four saves.
