Oakland's Parker loses in arbitration
Feb 7, 2015 - 8:16 PM (SportsNetwork.com) - Oakland Athletics pitcher Jarrod Parker reportedly lost his arbitration case.According to CBSSports.com, Parker will receive $850,000 for the 2015 season instead of the $1.7 million he requested.
Parker is coming off a second Tommy John procedure. He had his first in 2009 and didn't pitch last year after undergoing the surgery in March.
The 26-year-old right-hander is 25-16 with a 3.73 ERA in two seasons with Oakland. He was 12-8 with a 3.97 ERA in 32 starts in 2013.
