Marlins reassign 3B coach Butler

May 26, 2015 - 8:25 PM Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The shake up within the Miami Marlins coaching staff continued on Tuesday with third base coach Brett Butler being reassigned.

Lenny Harris will take over as third base coach. The Marlins said Butler will serve on the bench as the team's outfielder, base running and bunting coach.

It was reported earlier in the day by Fox Sports that Butler had resigned, indicating it was over differences with new manager Dan Jennings. The report cited sources over confusion with signs.

Jennings left his general manager duties with the club on May 18 to take over for the fired Mike Redmond.
