Reds 2B Phillips bruises calf
May 7, 2008 - 7:31 PM CINCINNATI (Ticker) -- Cincinnati Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips left Wednesday's game against the Chicago Cubs in the seventh inning with a bruised left calf.Phillips, who was 2-for-4, hit one of the Reds' seven home runs in the game. He was replaced at second base by Ryan Freel.
