Angels SS Aybar leaves game

May 10, 2008 - 12:07 AM ST. PETERSBURG, Florida (Ticker) -- Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim shortstop Erick Aybar left Friday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays in the fourth inning after being hit in the hand by a pitch.

Aybar squared around to bunt and was hit across the fingers on his left hand by James Shields' pitch as he held the barrel of the bat over the plate.

Robb Quinlan ran for Aybar and was erased on a double play.
