Padres 2B Iguchi leaves game
Jun 6, 2008 - 4:40 AM SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- San Diego Padres second baseman Tadahito Iguchi left Thursday's contest against the New York Mets in the seventh inning with an apparent right shoulder injury.Iguchi sustained the injury while trying to avoid a line drive when he was running to third. The ball nicked Iguchi's right leg, and he tumbled to the ground as he was called out to end the inning.
The 33-year-old Iguchi, who went 3-for-4 on the night, entered the contest batting .251 with two home runs and 19 RBI this season.
