Cubs LF Soriano leaves game
Jun 12, 2008 - 1:05 AM CHICAGO (Ticker) -- Chicago Cubs left fielder Alfonso Soriano left Wednesday's game against the Atlanta braves after being hit by a pitch in the second inning.Jeff Bennett's pitch ran inside on Soriano and hit him on the left hand before glancing up and catching the Cubs star near the ear.
Soriano was taken to Northwestern Hospital for X-rays.
Mike Fontenot was inserted as a pinch runner.
