Brewers activate P Suppan from DL
Jul 22, 2008 - 10:20 PM ST. LOUIS (Ticker) -- Milwaukee Brewers righthander Jeff Suppan has been activated from the 15-day disabled list and will start Tuesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.Suppan, who had been on the DL since July 7 with a right elbow injury, is 5-6 with a 4.71 ERA in 18 starts for the Brewers this season.
In a corresponding move, Milwaukee optioned lefthander Mitch Stetter to Class AAA Nashville. The southpaw went 2-1 with a 2.78 ERA in 23 games for the Brewers.
