Braves 3B Jones leaves game with injury
Jul 24, 2008 - 12:24 AM MIAMI (Ticker) -- Atlanta Braves All-Star third baseman Chipper Jones left Wednesday's game against the Florida Marlins in the fourth inning with an apparent left hamstring injury.Jones was running out a groundout to third base and grabbed the hamstring in pain as he went past the bag at first.
Jones, who leads the major leagues with a .369 batting average, was replaced in the field by Mart??n Prado. In his first at-bat, the veteran drove in a run in the third inning with a groundout.
