Yankees' RHP Ramirez ejected

Jul 30, 2008 - 7:25 PM BRONX, New York (Ticker) -- New York Yankees righthander Edwar Ramirez was ejected in the top of the seventh inning of Wednesday's game against the Baltimore Orioles after throwing inside to Kevin Millar.

Ramirez replaced starter Joba Chamberlain to start the seventh, but his first pitch sailed over the head of Millar. He was immediately ejected by plate umpire Mark Wegner without a warning.

The ejection came one day after Orioles starter Daniel Cabrera was tossed for plunking New York third baseman Alex Rodriguez, also without a warning.
