Royals OF Guillen out of lineup

Aug 2, 2008 - 12:31 AM KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Ticker) -- Kansas City Royals outfielder Jose Guillen was scratched from the lineup prior to Friday's game against the Chicago White Sox with a tight hip flexor.

Guillen, who leads the team with 14 home runs and 71 RBI, was replaced in left field by Mark Teahen. Guillen is hitting .259 in 102 games.
