Braves 3B Jones scratched from lineup
Aug 14, 2008 - 12:01 AM ATLANTA (Ticker) -- Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones was scratched in the second game of a day-night doubleheader against the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday with a stomach virus.Jones, who had missed time in July with a lingering hamstring injury, went 1-for-3 with a walk in the first game, which the Braves lost, 10-2.
The 36-year-old is batting .370 with 19 homers and 58 RBI in 94 games this season.
