2B Polanco out of lineup for Tigers
Aug 19, 2008 - 11:44 PM ARLINGTON, Texas (Ticker) -- Detroit Tigers second baseman Placido Polanco was not in the starting lineup on Tuesday because of a sore right knee.Polanco, who is hitting .310 with seven homers and 47 RBI in 112 games this season, is listed as day-to-day.
Ramon Santiago will start at second base and hit in Polanco's normal No. 2 spot.
