Indians RHP Ginter activated, optioned to minors
Aug 25, 2008 - 10:35 PM DETROIT (Ticker) -- Cleveland Indians righthander Matt Ginter was activated from the 15-day disabled list and sent outright to Class AAA Buffalo prior to Monday's game against the Detroit Tigers.Ginter was placed on the disabled list on August 6 with a right forearm strain. Prior to his stint this season, Ginter last pitched in the majors with the Tigers in 2005.
The 30-year-old was 1-3 with a 5.14 ERA in four starts this season for the Indians.
