Braves recall OF Josh Anderson
Aug 28, 2008 - 12:01 AM ATLANTA (Ticker) -- The Atlanta Braves on Wednesday recalled outfielder Josh Anderson from Class AAA Richmond of the International League.Anderson, 26, takes the roster spot of fellow outfielder Mark Kotsay, who was traded to the Boston Red Sox earlier in the day.
After being named to the International League All-Star team on Tuesday, Anderson will be joining the Braves for the second time this season. During his previous stint, he batted .318 (7-for-22) with two RBI in 11 games.
