Braves 3B Jones scratched from lineup
Sep 2, 2008 - 11:14 PM MIAMI (Ticker) -- Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones was scratched from Tuesday's game against the Florida Marlins after injuring his right knee in batting practice.Jones, who is second in the majors with a .358 batting average, was replaced by Omar Infante. Infante was slated to start at second, but Kelly Johnson took his place.
The 36-year-old Jones, who has missed 28 games due to various injuries, has 20 homers and 67 RBI in 110 games.
