Braves 3B Jones scratched from lineup

Sep 2, 2008 - 11:14 PM MIAMI (Ticker) -- Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones was scratched from Tuesday's game against the Florida Marlins after injuring his right knee in batting practice.

Jones, who is second in the majors with a .358 batting average, was replaced by Omar Infante. Infante was slated to start at second, but Kelly Johnson took his place.

The 36-year-old Jones, who has missed 28 games due to various injuries, has 20 homers and 67 RBI in 110 games.
