Astros LF Wigginton leaves game

Sep 7, 2008 - 12:44 AM DENVER (Ticker) -- Houston Astros left fielder Ty Wigginton left Saturday's game against the Colorado Rockies in the first inning with an undisclosed injury.

Leading off the game, he hit a slow groundball to the right side, extended himself to beat the throw to first and subsequently hobbled off the field.

Darin Erstad replaced him in left field.
