Brewers OF Kapler has muscle tear in shoulder
Sep 11, 2008 - 9:19 PM MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Gabe Kapler has a torn muscle in his right shoulder, an MRI revealed Thursday.The 33-year-old outfielder suffered the injury during the sixth inning of Wednesday's 4-3 victory over the Cincinnati Reds while making a throw to home plate.
Kapler will remain in Milwaukee where he will undergo physical therapy, and is hopeful of returning this season.
Kapler is hitting .301 with eight homers and 38 RBI in 96 games this season.
