Orioles 3B Mora ejected

Sep 17, 2008 - 12:11 AM TORONTO (Ticker) -- Baltimore Orioles third baseman Melvin Mora was ejected for arguing balls and strikes in the third inning of Tuesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Blue Jays reliever John Parrish came on after starter Shaun Marcum left with an undisclosed injury and struck out Mora for the first out of the frame. Mora promptly began arguing with plate umpire Rob Drake.

The 36-year-old Mora, who was replaced by Kevin Millar in the field, is batting .283 with 23 home runs and 99 RBI in 128 games this season.
