Orioles 2B Roberts leaves game after being hit by pitch
Sep 28, 2008 - 7:17 PM BALTIMORE (Ticker) -- Baltimore Orioles second baseman Brian Roberts left in the bottom of the sixth inning of Sunday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays after being hit by a pitch.Roberts, who was 0-for-2 before exiting, was plunked by an offering from Jesse Litsch and was replaced by Alex Cintron.
The 30-year-old Roberts is batting .296 with nine homers and 57 RBI in 156 games.
