Brewers 2B Weeks leaves pivotal game
Oct 4, 2008 - 11:55 PM MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Rickie Weeks left Game Three of the National League Division Series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday in the top of the fourth inning with a sprained left knee.The Brewers trail the best-of-five series two games to none.
Weeks suffered the injury when he stepped awkwardly on first base trying to beat out a ground ball in the bottom of the second.
Craig Counsell replaced Weeks in the field.
