SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- The San Diego Padres sent outright righthander Tim Stauffer to Class AAA Portland on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old Stauffer missed the entire 2008 season with a right shoulder strain. He has gone 4-7 with a 6.37 ERA in 18 games - 17 starts - with the Padres over three campaigns.
In other moves, San Diego also sent outright righthander Kevin Cameron and infielder Craig Stansberry to Portland.
Cameron, 28, posted a 3.60 ERA in 10 relief appearances last season but missed 73 games with a strained right elbow. The 26-year-old Stansberry batted .375 (6-for-16) with two RBI and four runs scored in 12 games for the Padres while hitting hit .249 with seven home runs and 27 RBI in 75 contests with Portland.
