Cardinals minor league IF Vivas suspended 50 games
Dec 1, 2008 - 10:37 PM NEW YORK (Ticker) -- St. Louis Cardinals minor league infielder Wilfred Vivas was suspended 50 games Monday for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs.A member of the Venezuelan Summer League team in 2008, Vivas tested positive for metabolites of Methandienone.
The suspension will begin at the start of next season.
