Brewers sign RHP Coffey
Dec 8, 2008 - 5:27 PM MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- The Milwaukee Brewers on Monday signed righthander Todd Coffey to a one-year contract, avoiding salary arbitration.Financial terms were not disclosed.
Coffey joined the Brewers last season on September 9 after being designated for assignment by the Cincinnati Reds.
In nine games with the Brewers, Coffey was 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA.
For his career, Coffey is 13-9 with a 4.46 ERA with nine saves in 222 games with the Reds and Brewers.
