Yankees agree with RHP Bruney
Jan 30, 2009 - 8:28 PM NEW YORK (Ticker) -- The New York Yankees on Friday agreed to terms with righthander Brian Bruney on a one-year contract.Financial terms were not disclosed
Bruney, 26, was 3-0 with one save and a 1.83 ERA in 32 appearances last season with the Yankees, despite missing over three months with a right foot injury.
In five seasons with the Yankees and Arizona Diamondbacks, Bruney is 11-10 with a 4.34 ERA and 13 saves.
