Reds agree to terms with OF Dickerson, three others
Feb 24, 2009 - 3:49 PM SARASOTA, Florida (Ticker) -- The Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday agreed to terms with outfielder Chris Dickerson on a one-year contract.Dickerson, 26, is battling for a starting job with the Reds this season after batting .304 with six home runs and 15 RBI in 31 games last year.
The Reds also agreed to terms on one-year deals with utility man Jeff Keppinger, infielder Danny Richar and catcher Ryan Hanigan.
Keppinger, a five-year veteran who batted .266 last season, could start at shortstop for Cincinnati if injury-prone Alex Gonzalez is not available.
