0 shoutsAUBURN HILLS, Mich.(AP) -- The Detroit Pistons have waived Maceo Baston, reducing their roster to 15 players.
The 33-year-old forward averaged 0.5 points, 0.5 rebounds and 3.5 minutes in five preseason games.
Baston played in 27 games with the Indiana Pacers last season and averaged 2.5 points and 1.9 rebounds in eight minutes.
The Pistons open the season Oct. 28 at Memphis.
