Lakers F Radmanovic out eight weeks with separated shoulder
Feb 20, 2007 - 7:28 PM LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Even during All-Star Weekend, the Los Angeles Lakers couldn't escape the injury bug.The team confirmed on Tuesday that forward Vladimir Radmanovic has a separated right shoulder and will likely be sidelined up to two months.
Radmanovic told the Lakers that he sustained the injury when he slipped on a patch of ice and fell.
The Lakers are already without center Kwame Brown and forward Luke Walton. Both have sprained ankles.
Slowed by a hand injury early in the season, Radmanovic is averaging just 6.9 points and 3.4 rebounds in 52 games. He is shooting less than 43 percent from the field and 34 percent from 3-point range.
The Lakers signed Radmanovic as a free agent last July.
The 6-10 Radmanovic averaged 10.7 points and 5.7 rebounds, shooting nearly 42 percent from 3-point range, in 30 games with the Los Angeles Clippers last season after being acquired from Seattle.
No one has shouted yet.
