Ford out of Pacers' lineup 7 to 10 days

Mar 14, 2010 - 4:45 PM MILWAUKEE(AP) -- Pacers point guard T.J. Ford is expected to miss seven to 10 days with a sore left groin.

Coach Jim O'Brien made the announcement before Indiana played the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.

Ford was injured early in the first quarter of a loss to the Celtics in Boston on Friday night.

He was averaging 10.3 points and 3.8 assists in 41 games, including 10 starts.

O'Brien said that rookie A.J. Price will get into the mix at point guard along with Earl Watson.
