Suns sign free-agent guard Matt Janning
Aug 4, 2010 - 10:07 PM PHOENIX(AP) -- The Phoenix Suns have signed free-agent guard Matt Janning to a multiyear contract.Terms of the deal weren't announced Wednesday.
The 6-foot-4 Janning played for the Suns' entry in the Las Vegas Summer League. He started all five games and averaged 12.6 points and 5.8 rebounds. He was the squad's third-leading scorer and second-leading rebounder.
The 22-year-old Janning led Northeastern last season with 15.4 points.
