Warriors promote Myers to GM
Apr 24, 2012 - 8:57 PM Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - The Golden State Warriors have promoted Bob Myers to general manager.The move was announced Tuesday.
Myers, 37, was hired in April 2011 and had been assistant general manager and vice president of basketball operations.
Larry Riley, the general manager and executive VP of basketball operations for the past 12 months, will remain with the Warriors as director of scouting.
