Chris Bosh suffers abdominal strain
May 13, 2012 - 9:34 PM Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh suffered a lower abdominal strain shortly before halftime of Sunday's Eastern Conference semifinal opener against the Indiana Pacers.He will not return to the game.
Bosh dunked over Pacers center Roy Hibbert and drew the foul with 1:06 remaining in the second quarter, but landed awkwardly and remained on the floor momentarily. He made the free throw, cutting Miami's deficit to 48-42, and contested Hibbert's miss on Indiana's next possession before departing for the locker room.
He did not return to the court with his teammates for the start of the third quarter.
