Report: Cavs' Irving to be Rookie of the Year
May 14, 2012 - 1:37 AM Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving is set to be named NBA Rookie of the Year, according to a report Sunday.Irving, a likely winner after his star-making first season, will collect the trophy on Tuesday, The Plain Dealer reported.
Last year's No. 1 draft pick out of Duke, Irving averaged 18.5 points and 5.4 assists in 51 games for the Cavaliers.
