Nuggets' Gallinari has arthroscopic knee surgery
Apr 30, 2013 - 9:10 PM Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari underwent an arthroscopic procedure on Tuesday to repair meniscus damage in his left knee.Following a short-term rehabilitation period, a date will be determined for when Gallinari will have surgery to repair the anterior cruciate ligament he tore in the same knee on April 4.
Prior to the season-ending injury, Gallinari was averaging a career-high 16.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 71 games.
