Knicks' Novak active for Game 2
May 7, 2013 - 10:35 PM New York, NY (Sports Network) - The New York Knicks will have 3-point specialist Steve Novak available for Game 2 of the team's Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Indiana Pacers, the club announced prior to Tuesday's tip-off.Novak has sat out the Knicks' last two playoff tests, including Sunday's 102-95 home loss to the Pacers, with back spasms that also limited him to just three minutes of action in last Wednesday's loss to Boston during Game 5 of the first round.
The 29-year-old shot a team-best 42.5 percent (149-of-351) from 3-point range during the regular season and averaged 6.6 points and 1.9 rebounds over 81 games as a key reserve for the Atlantic Division champions.
