James, Durant headline All-NBA First Team
May 23, 2013 - 5:26 PM New York, NY (Sports Network) - NBA MVP LeBron James and Kevin Durant headline the 2012-13 All-NBA First Team.James was a unanimous selection, receiving all 119 first-team votes, to earn a First-Team selection for the sixth consecutive year and seventh time overall. The Miami Heat superstar was named the league MVP for a fourth time this year.
Durant, the Oklahoma City Thunder star, was a First-Team choice for the fourth time and picked up 102 first-team votes.
San Antonio center Tim Duncan and guards Chris Paul of the Clippers and Kobe Bryant of the Lakers rounded out the First Team. Duncan earned his 10th First- Team selection and first since 2006-07, while Paul was selected to the First Team for the third time.
Bryant, meanwhile, was a First-Team choice for the eighth straight year and his 11th selection overall matched the record set by Karl Malone.
The Second Team consists of forwards Carmelo Anthony of the Knicks and Blake Griffin of the Clippers, center Marc Gasol of Memphis and guards Tony Parker of San Antonio and Russell Westbrook of Oklahoma City.
Selected for the Third Team were forwards Paul George of Indiana and David Lee of Golden State, center Dwight Howard of the Lakers and guards Dwyane Wade of Miami and James Harden of Houston.
