Grizzlies' Allen fined for flopping
May 24, 2013 - 9:00 PM New York, NY (Sports Network) - Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen has been fined $5,000 for violating the league's anti-flopping rules, the NBA announced Friday.The infraction occurred late in the fourth quarter of Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals when Allen was fouled by San Antonio's Manu Ginobili while trying to finish a fastbreak layup.
Memphis went on to lose that game in overtime and now trails in the series, 2-0. Game 3 is slated for Saturday in Memphis.
