Spurs' Parker has hamstring strain
Jun 12, 2013 - 7:00 PM San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker is listed as day-to-day with a Grade 1 right hamstring strain.Parker underwent an MRI on Wednesday, less than 24 hours after suffering the injury in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. He played 27 1/2 minutes and briefly returned to the court after going to the locker room in the third quarter to get evaluated.
Parker totaled six points and eight assists in Tuesday's 113-77 victory over the Miami Heat, which gave San Antonio a 2-1 lead in the series.
Parker tweeted in French on Wednesday that he had an MRI earlier in the day that showed the strain.
"We'll see tomorrow how I feel," Parker tweeted. "I really hope to play!!!"
Game 4 is set for Thursday.
