Hawks finalize deal with Sefolosha
Jul 10, 2014 - 11:44 PM Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Atlanta Hawks announced the signing of guard Thabo Sefolosha during Thursday's opening day of the NBA free agent period.The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported last week that the former Oklahoma City defensive standout had agreed to a three-year, $12 million contract with the Hawks.
Sefolosha had spent the past five-plus seasons with the Thunder and played a key part in Oklahoma City's march to the 2012 NBA Finals. The 30-year-old averaged 6.3 points and 3.6 rebounds while starting 61 games for the Thunder last season.
The eight-year veteran was named to the NBA's All-Defensive Second Team for the 2009-10 season.
